Chairman's Choice: Paris
HOTELS

LE BRISTOL
This is the dignified, impeccable and outstanding hotel built in 1924. This hotel is situated in the shopping district overlooking a 13,000 square foot enclosed garden and is within walking distance of the Champs Elysees and the Louvre. The suites and rooms are decorated in luxurious chintz fabrics and rare antique furnishings. The hotel has an impressive swimming pool located on the sixth floor with stunning rooftop views of Paris. I must also recommend that you please introduce yourself to my friend, Mr. Wolf Ganzel, Concierge at Le Bristol. Concierge in French means "guardian" or "doorkeeper" and Mr. Wolf Ganzel will be your Parisian guardian. He will make reservations for dinner, recommend restaurants, book airplane flights, reserve rental cars, sightseeing tours, theater tickets, find lost luggage and help non-speaking French guests with language problems. Mr. Ganzel is a high-level individual at Le Bristol and has had several years working in the position of Concierge to acquire the training and experience necessary to be the first-class concierge that he is. Mr. Wolf Ganzel loves helping people and is an integral component at Le Bristol Hotel. If you want an air of seclusion in a peaceful garden setting, you will adore Le Bristol, a place of quiet magic in the City of Lights.

THE RITZ
This hotel was founded in 1898 by Cesar Ritz and it is unmatched in fame and maintaining a reputation of elegance and service equaled by only a select few hotels in the world. Located two blocks south of the Opera and an equal distance north of Jardi des Tuileries, the Louvre and the river Seine. The rooms are elegant and the epitome of luxury. By the way, this was the first Paris hotel to have electricity. This hotel is now owned by Mohammed Al-Fayed who bought the hotel in 1979 and has ensured that the Ritz retains its traditions (including splendid afternoon tea). The hotel combines state-of-the-art renovations with old-world traditions and has an outstanding restaurant, L'Espandon.
